Great place to get authentic Austrian food with an awesome vibe in an old castle! The rooms are each unique and fun- we had the best server and amazing time. They can accommodate gluten free too!
I wanted to share the wonderful service and food we experienced at Ottoburg tonight. My wife, our adult children, and their significant others have been traveling throughout Europe for over a week and have eaten at many excellent restaurants—but tonight truly stood out as the best overall experience we’ve had so far. There were nine of us, and after being turned away from a nearby restaurant due to not having a reservation, we decided to try Ottoburg. We are so glad we did. The historic building created a fantastic atmosphere, and the food was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. We also had the pleasure of being served by Marian, who was attentive, friendly, and genuinely fun. He made the evening even more enjoyable and is exactly the type of person I would want working for me if I owned a restaurant. An unforgettable dining experience—we highly recommend Ottoburg. Situated at the western gateway to the Old Town and facing the Inn River, this structure evokes the image of a small medieval fortress. Records of the building date back to the 15th century, when it likely served as part of the city’s defensive system or as a residence with a lookout tower. It later became the property of noble families and has since been transformed into a restaurant.
